GSSE hosts cycling fundraiser on May 9

Register now for the inaugural Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise Program's 'Community Ride' cycling fundraiser on May 9. Your participation and support will help send promising Colorado State University graduate student-teams to solve real-world problems across the globe.

Colorado State University's business college master's program, the Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise, will hold its first "Community Ride" fundraiser Saturday, May 9 as part of the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championship in Fort Collins.


Early registration is recommended. Cost is $50 for adults and $25 for children ages 13 to 17; the event is free for children under age 12 accompanied by an adult.

Three routes will be offered for 2009, including 15-, 42- and 62-mile rides around Fort Collins. This event will become an annual event. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be used to support international students and projects.

The GSSE Program seeks to provide sustainable enterprise solutions to some of the most stubborn issues facing the world including poverty, disease, malnutrition and environmental degradation.
