Blane Harding retires after 21 years at CSU

Blane Harding, director of Advising, Recruitment, and Retention for the College of Liberal Arts and the University’s Prelaw Advisor, is retiring May 31. He has taught courses in African American history and ethnic studies for the past 21 years.

Harding received his BA in Interdisciplinary Communication from S.U.N.Y. at Brockport and his MA in 19th Century American history from CSU.

He is the recipient of numerous rewards and honors including the Oliver P. Pennock Award, Distinguished Administrative Professional Award, Jack E. Cermak Award, College of Liberal Arts Excellence in Teaching Award, Minority Distinguished Service Award, and Channel 7 News Everyday Hero.
