State Classified Performance Evaluations

April 16, 2011

The State Classified Performance Cycle will conclude on March 31, and final evaluations for the 2010/2011 performance cycle, along with performance plans for the 2011/2012 performance cycle, must be completed for state-classified employees in the month of April.

Evaluation/planning timeline

  • March 31, 2011: Performance cycle concludes
  • April 2011: State-classified performance evaluations for 10/11 developed and delivered to staff
  • April 26, 2011: Final Planning Confirmation and Overall Evaluation Form due to HRS with required information entered into Oracle
  • April 2011: Performance plans for 11/12 completed with required information entered into Oracle

Batches will be available in Oracle to enter the final evaluation meeting date and rating as well as the date of the planning meeting by April 4. Please enter this information into Oracle and forward the original 2010/2011 Final Planning Confirmation and Overall Form to HRS by April 26, 2011.

Designated reviewer

To ensure that you are conducting your evaluation process in accordance with your specific organization, please contact your College or Vice Presidential division prior to conducting performance reviews with your employees.

Additionally, supervisors must secure approval from the designated reviewer in your organization prior to finalizing performance evaluations with employees. The reviewer is defined as the academic or administrative department head, or the dean or vice president for employees in those central administrative offices, and must be at least one level higher than the supervisor.
