Volleyball jumps to No. 15 in AVCA Top 25

Coming off of a successful opening weekend, the CSU volleyball team has moved up to No. 15 in the AVCA Coaches Top 25 Poll. This new poll was released Monday afternoon.

The record crowd last weekend at Moby Arena.

Rams sweep Buffs

 The No. 15-ranked Colorado State volleyball team improved to 3-0 to start the 2010 season, sweeping in-state rival Colorado on Tuesday night at Moby Arena.

The win – 25-19, 25-22, 22-16 – marked the sixth consecutive for CSU in the series with Colorado, and was gave CSU its sixth 3-0 start under Head Coach Tom Hilbert. [ More ]

Season-opening wins

This jump from No. 17 to No. 15 occurred after two season-opening wins last weekend for the Rams, against Duke and Furman.

Face No. 6 Florida Sept. 4

Later this week the Rams will travel to Gainesville, Fla., to compete against Bowling Green, Albany, and No. 6-ranked Florida, as part of UF’s Campus USA Credit Union Invitational.
