The city of Fort Collins is filled with fun and exciting events and activities all summer long. We've compiled a list of events happening in the month of June to help you narrow your choices. Happy picking.

First Friday Gallery Walk
Friday, June 5, 6-9 p.m.

The First Friday Gallery Walk is held the first Friday of every month from 6-9 p.m. in Old Town Fort Collins. The galleries remain open for a self-guided tour with refreshments and with the constant changing exhibits, there is always something new to see. Visit Fort Collins Arts for more information.

Ben & Jerry's FAC Concert Series
Friday, June 5, 7-9 p.m.

Enjoy superb live music at Ben & Jerry's FAC Concert from 7-9 p.m. in Old Town Square Stage. Come enjoy a Friday night on the town! Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Shoppe sponsors this music series which allows local musicians to come show off their talents. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy it all summer long!

Outdoor Movie Nights
Friday, June 12, 8:30 p.m.

This event is free for all ages! Come hang out with family and friends and enjoy your favorite movies, popcorn and other snacks available for purchase. Be sure to bring your favorite lawn chair and blanket! Movies will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. The event will take place at Northside Aztlan Community Center on 112 East Willow. Check the website for movie listing.

Nelsen's Old Town Car Show
Saturday, June 13, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

The 8th annual Nelsen's Old Town Car Show, taking place from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., will be even bigger this year. A variety of cars including hot rods, vintage and classic favorites will be lining the streets of Old Town Fort Collins. Free to spectators.

Taste of Fort Collins
Saturday, June 13, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
Sunday, June 14, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. 
Civic Center Park
(Laporte Ave. and Mason St.)

The Taste of Fort Collins is a community celebration with family-friendly activities. Entry fees help support non-profit partners, as do ticket sales, beverage sales, and all tip jars.
The entry fee is also used to off-set the cost of bringing in national talent acts such as Sugar Ray and Gin Blossoms. Don't miss this summer food and fun!

"Brain Freeze" Ice Cream Festival
 Saturday, June 20, noon-3 p.m.

Taste homemade and commercial ice cream samples and learn about nutrition information, participate in the trivia contest or the homemade ice cream competition, take a splash in the indoor pool and check out other cool fun like floats, sundaes, shakes, add-ons and add-ins. All ages are welcome! The event will take place at the Senior Center on 1200 Raintree Drive from noon-3 p.m.

Admission is $5 per participant and payable at the door. Each admission includes 10 tickets for ice cream and toppings. Additional tickets available, 2 for $1.

Fort Collins Irish Festival 
Saturday, June 20, 10 a.m.-11 p.m.

Are You Feelin’ Lucky Fort Collins?

The 2nd Annual Fort Collins Irish Festival is returning to historic downtown Fort Collins at Civic Center Park. From 10 a.m.-11p.m., the Festival will feature 12 renowned local, national and international musical groups bringing to Fort Collins the “musical entertainment event of 2009”.

It also features the world famous Guinness Gig Rig, great food fare from local downtown restaurant’s, new exhibits both historical and cultural along with interactive activities.

Colorado Brewers' Festival 
Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

The 20th Annual Colorado Brewers' Festival in Downtown Fort Collins means great beer, food, music and fun. Over 350 kegs of beer will be poured beginning on Saturday at 11 a.m. and conclude on Sunday at 6 p.m. in Old Town Square.

The Colorado Brewers' Festival is made up solely of Colorado Breweries, including the host breweries from Fort Collins:

  • Anheuser-Busch
  • Big Horn Brewery/CB & Potts
  • Coopersmith's Pub & Brewing
  • New Belgium Brewing Co.
  • Fort Collins Brewery
  • Odell Brewing Company

Admission is $10 for Saturaday/Sunday pass, $6 for a Sunday pass, and all token are $2 a piece. A Designated Driver Program is available for non-beer samplers with valid driver's license.
