Celebrate Colorado State!

April 1, 2009

Celebrate Colorado State is a series of events every April that highlight the outstanding achievements of the campus community over the past year. Students, faculty, and staff who have earned awards and acclaim; employee years of service and retirements; and outstanding alumni and supporters are all honored during events throughout the month - including the annual Celebrate Colorado State Awards April 28.

Interim President invites your participation

CSU’s Interim President Tony Frank invites all members of the campus community to participate:

“Each spring, we come together as a campus to recognize and congratulate individuals on their achievements. In an academic year when so much of our focus has been on the unsettling business of managing the University’s budget challenges, it seems more important than ever that we take time to honor our successes and celebrate accomplishments. I would personally like to use this opportunity to thank all of our faculty and staff for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.

"Even during times of stress and distraction, you continue to excel and advance the quality and reputation of Colorado State. I also want to offer special congratulations to those who have received recognition for their accomplishments this past year. I hope all members of our campus community will join me in honoring these individual achievements and our shared commitment to institutional excellence as we Celebrate Colorado State.”

Honoring accomplishments

Included in the celebration are events honoring University employee years of service and retirement, outstanding alumni and university supporters, teachers, and students.
