Shakespeare at Sunset Summer Theatre

June 1, 2010

Colorado State University's School of the Arts performs Shakespeare masterfully (as evidenced by its sold-out productions during the 2009 season)! This summer, a lighting designer from Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas will help create a 'canopy of stars' inside the University Theatre, and CSU's directors, theatre designers, and actors will stage the Bard of Avon's masterpieces as only CSU can!

Colorado State University students perform in the 2009 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Cirque du Soleil canopy of stars

Prior to performances, patrons are invited to picnic on the beautiful grounds of the UCA and the Annual Trial Flower Gardens; cooler storage will be available. In conjunction with Shakespeare at Sunset, the University Art Museum is offering free guided tours at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights throughout the month of July.
