Among the offerings at the MBAA-Rocky Mountain District 2014 Technical Summit is an overview of the development and current status of the fermentation science and technology degree program at Colorado State University.
The Mountain Master Brewers Association of the Americas Rocky Mountain District is hosting their Biennial Technical Summit at the CSU Drake Center, 802 West Drake Road, on Wednesday, May 7.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn, network and develop your technical knowledge of various aspects of brewing and packaging.
Jeff McCubbin, dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences, will give a welcome address at 8:35 a.m.
Jeff Callaway, director of industry relations for the fermentation science and technology program in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at CSU, will speak at 3 p.m. on the development and current status of the program in a session titled,'From Field to Foam.'
This will be a fun day! Registration includes breakfast, lunch and a social after the event at Black Bottle brewery, with beer provided by a several Colorado brewers throughout the event.
Ages 21 and over please. Registration required.
