The Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture will be discussing their research that applies to small-scale organic production techniques. The talk is open to the public. Please RSVP by Wednesday, Sept. 7 if possible.
The CSU Specialty Crops Program will host its Annual Field Day on Monday, Sept. 12 at the Horticulture Field Research Center (4300 E. County Road 50) from 1-4 p.m.

Presenters will include Frank Stonaker, Ph.D. and Dan Goldhamer, Dept. of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, and Whitney Cranshaw, Ph.D., Dept. BioAgricultural Sciences and Pest Management.

The Field Center is a 65 acre state-of-the-art facility for plot research in horticulture and allied disciplines. To get there, exit east at I-25 at the Mountain Vista exit (#271). Proceed east across frontage road and enter the 2nd driveway on the north side.
