Are you dangerously drinking?

Kick off alcohol awareness month with Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) at CSU!

What: "Bold new approaches to dangerous drinking; from lowering the drinking age to legalizing marijuana"
When: Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m.
Where: Clark A102

SSDP will be screening "Death by Alcohol; The Sam Spady Story" (runtime 30 minutes), followed by a panel discussion featuring:

  • Pam McCracken - CSU Counseling Center
  • Robert Lowrey - CSU Student Legal Services
  • Paul Osincup – CSU Conflict Resolution & Student Conduct
  • James Weber - Drugs Alcohol and You (DAY) program at CSU
  • Mason Tvert - SAFER

You can find out the answers to all your alcohol related questions, including:

  • If I call 911 because my friend has alcohol poisoning could I get in trouble for MIP, etc?
  • What is CSU doing to help curb irresponsible use of alcohol?
  • What are the penalties for getting caught with alcohol on campus?
  • Is alcohol always going to be a part of campus life?
  • Are lowering the drinking age and allowing the use of marijuana realistic solutions to alcohol problems at colleges?
  • Can I get kicked out of CSU because of alcohol or drug related reasons?
