The Nutrition Center @ CSU will hold a cooking class on Wednesday that will demonstrate how to use herbs and seasonings to flavor without salt.

Are you trying to watch your salt intake, but missing the flavor? In this class we will demonstrate and discuss ways to use herbs and seasonings to flavor food without the salt. 

Hidden sources of sodium

We will also review hidden sources of sodium in our food, and sample several flavorful low-sodium dishes. You won’t even miss the salt with these easy, gourmet, inexpensive recipes!

The class will be held Wednesday, May 6, from noon to 1 p.m. followed by an optional 30 minute Q&A. This event will be held in the professional kitchen of The Nutrition Center @ CSU, Room 114 Gifford Building
