MBB: Rams at NBA Combine

While former Colorado State center Colton Iverson impressed the scores of NBA executives with what he was capable of on the court during the 2013 NBA Combine, Thursday and Friday at Chicago’s “Attack Athletics” facility, at least one evaluator standing on the sideline came into the event fully aware of what the honorable mention All-American could do on the hardwood. That’s because Jason Phillips, the Rams’ Head Strength & Conditioning Coach who works directly with the CSU men’s basketball program, was invited to Chicago to work with “Bam Testing,” the team responsible for administering and evaluating the athletics testing portion of the combine, the prelude to June’s NBA Draft.  Read more.

WBB: Nichols earns scholarship

Colorado State women’s basketball player Alicia Nichols has proved herself on the court, earning a scholarship for her final season with the Rams. Head Coach Ryun Williams made the announcement Friday. Read more.

60 student-athletes receive diplomas

In addition to excelling in their particular sport, Colorado State student-athletes are driven to succeed in the classroom. Beginning Thursday, 60 student-athletes will be recognized at commencement ceremonies for earning their degrees this spring or summer.  Read more.

WP: Season review

The Colorado State women's water polo team, founded in 2005, completed its final competition on April 28. After a 1-2 finish at the WWPA Championships in Santa Clara, Calif., the Rams placed fourth, tying their best finish. Read more.
