Cuisine: Tapas from Spain

Part II of this International Dining Series focuses on a fun food trend -- heart-healthy snacks and appetizers from Spain called tapas.

The International Cuisine Series is happy to offer International Dining Series – Part II. Travel around the world without leaving the kitchen – again!

Join Michelle Milholland, MS, RD and CSU students for a continuation of our popular International Cuisine Series. This time we’ll highlight a variety of Spanish-speaking countries, all with unique culinary traditions.

Mediterranean small plates

Spain is located in the heart-healthy “Mediterranean” region, but is also known for introducing the world to tapas, which are small plates of appetizers or snacks.

In this class, we’ll participate in this fun food trend by making a variety of creative tapas with healthful ingredients.

Class fee and what's included

The cost to attend is $20 per class ($10 for CSU students and employees) and includes:

  • recipes
  • education materials
  • lunch

All classes include optional 30-minute Q&A at the end of the programs.
