Rec Center extends pool family hours

January 20, 2014

Campus Recreation, in partnership with Commitment 2 Campus (C2C), is expanding family hours in the Aquatic Center for all Student Recreation Center members.

Access to the pool for dependents of members will be extended to include Thursdays from 3:30-6:30 p.m. beginning the first Thursday of the spring semester, Jan. 23, 2014.

“In support of CSU families, Campus Recreation is excited to extend its family pool hours,” said Judy Muenchow, executive director of Campus Recreation. “This is just another step in the department’s efforts to collaboratively offer benefits to the Ram community.”

Family hours now include all weekends, beginning 3 p.m. Friday until 5 p.m. Sunday, Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (dependents restricted to the Aquatic center only), breaks and summer hours.

Campus Recreation members can bring in their spouse/partner and up to four dependents (under the age of 18) for free during family hours. Any additional dependents beyond the first four or any child over the age of 18 will be charged $5 each. The Campus Recreation member must have an active membership and maintain direct supervision of all dependents under 16 years of age. Outside of family hours, members can sponsor a guest (18 years and older) for $5 a day in the Recreation Center.
