Free workshops for faculty and staff added to summer schedule

Training and Organizational Development's summer 2011 classes are open for registration.

Classes are free and offered during and after work hours. CSU faculty and staff are provided the opportunity to gain new insights for personal and professional growth. These trainings can provide new tools for challenges, inspiration, and ideas for surviving, adapting, and rejuvenating.

Recent additions to the session include:

  • Winning at Writing: The Mechanics of Business Writing
  • Winning at Writing: Style and Organization

 The Employee Assistance Program’s extensive summer trainings include:

  • Addiction 101
  • Caregiving 101: Exploring the Complexities of Family Caregiving
  • Happiness 101
  • Suicide Prevention Training

Offerings in Communication, Leadership and Supervision include:

  • Essential Conversations: Tools for Talking When Topics Are Tough
  • Recognition and Motivation
  • Stepping Up to Supervision
