Electronics Roundup April 22

April 21, 2009

For Earth Day, ASCSU is offering a free service for recycling cell phones, computers, monitors, alarm clocks, TVs, and other electronics. This is an easy way to live green by helping yourself and your environment.

Help yourself & the environment

The Electronics Roundup is an opportunity for the campus community to recycle everything from cell phones to computers and monitors to alarm clocks and radios.

These devices often contain chemicals and heavy metals which are harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly.

Free recycling

Bring your old electronics to the ASCSU booth on the Lory Student Center Plaza for Earth Day on April 22 between 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for free recycling done in conjunction with Access Computer of Loveland, Colo.

Kitchen appliances not accepted

Televisions of any size are also being accepted. The only items not accepted are kitchen appliances (ie. microwaves, toasters, ovens, blenders, crockpots, etc.).
