Seventh Annual Senior Law Day

The $10 registration fee that admits you to the 7th Annual Senior Law Day entitles you to a copy of the Colorado Bar Association's 2011 Senior Law Handbook, breakfast, lunch, keynote entertainment, and a choice of twelve workshops tailored toward answering your questions about how to develop action plans to meet your legal and financial needs.

Colorado State University's Office of Gift Planning and Elder Care Network of Larimer County present the 7th Annual Senior Law Day to be held at CSU’s Lory Student Center on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m.  

Senior Law Day is a day of learning for:

  • Seniors
  • Adult children with aging parents
  • Caregivers

This annual day-long conference offers seminars specifically for seniors and their families. Senior Law Day will provide attendees with useful information and numerous resources that will help them create a plan of action to address their specific legal and financial needs.

Select four workshops from twelve:

  • Basic estate planning: Wills, trusts & your property
  • When to use an attorney
  • Medicare updates: What’s new, advanced directives, veterans benefits and long-term care planning
  • Tech-savvy seniors
  • Probate administration: What to do when someone dies
  • Potpourri of family law for seniors

For a $10 per person registration fee, each participant will receive a copy of the 2011 Senior Law Handbook (published by the Colorado Bar Association), a comprehensive book of all seminar highlights and sponsor resources, breakfast, lunch, and keynote entertainment, in addition to the four seminars and the opportunity to interact with area professionals.
