Hartshorn sponsors Poudre Valley Hospital blood drive

February 12, 2009

Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for your donation.

Blood drive

Hartshorn Student Health and the Student Health Advisory Council are cosponsoring a blood drive on Monday, Feb. 16.  Poudre Valley Hospital will be accepting blood donations in their mobile blood donation unit between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Look for the mobile unit marked parked on University Avenue by the Lory Student Center and Morgan Library.

Become part of a select group

When you make a blood donation, you join a very select group. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood.  Join the community of generous people who consider donating blood their form of volunteerism--their way of making a difference in their community.

Your community needs a safe and stable blood supply

Help your community maintain a safe and stable blood supply by coming by the Poudre Valley Hospital mobile unit on Monday, Feb. 16 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

No appointment necessary: Walk up and donate blood!  All students, staff and faculty are welcome to donate.
