April 28, 2011

CSU-TV 11's May featured programming includes CSU alumni's work in media.

Starting Monday, May 2, CSU-TV broadcasts the 2010 CSU Media Festival’s Premier Showcase, a compilation of best entries from 2009 and 2010. The wide array of exemplars includes compositions in news, sports, children’s programming, documentary, and entertainment.

The two-part program will run throughout the month of May.

  • May 16 through May 27, only Part I airs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8 p.m.
  • May 16 through May 27, Part I airs on Tuesday and Thursday, and Part II airs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

All shows will appear at 8 p.m. Both programs will air periodically in the future as part of CSU-TV’s University-focused programming.

The festival, hosted at CSU September 23-24, 2010, showcases CSU alumni’s impact in popular television, film, print, public relations, social media, and Web productions. The second annual festival was a collaboration between CSU’s Department of Journalism and Technical Communication, College of Liberal Arts, and Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation.

CSU-TV, operated by CSU’s Division of External Relations, airs over Channel 11 for Comcast subscribers in Fort Collins. All other viewers can connect to a live stream of CSU-TV
