Establishing expectations and state-classified final evaluation review sessions

March 26, 2012

The end of the State Classified Performance Cycle is nearing again, which means that it's almost time to deliver final evaluations and develop performance plans for state-classified employees at the university.

Employee Relations is offering the following sessions to assist managers and supervisors with their process.

Training for new raters and supervisors

Training for new raters and supervisors is a required element of the University's Performance Management Program. The 90-minute session does not require registration and will familiarize new raters with key components of CSU's program. The session is in the Lory Student Center.

  • Tuesday, March 27, 9 a.m., Room 210
Establishing expectations

Additionally, an interactive classroom style presentation on establishing expectations will be offered. Session content, including creating a planning checklist and  writing SMART goals, is applicable to state classified and administrative professional employees.

As with the training above, this 2-hour session does not require registration and will be held at 3 p.m. April 6 in Room 208 in the Lory Student Center.

Please remember that State Classified Performance Evaluations and Performance Plans must be completed during the month of April. Detailed information on the program can be accessed here
