WBB: Williams inks local talent for 2014-15

The Colorado State women's basketball program and Head Coach Ryun Williams announced that Myanne Hamm, a Fort Collins native, signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period. Read more.

VB: CSU signs Under Armour All-American, beach gold medalist

The Colorado State volleyball program - undefeated and ranked No. 10 in the latest AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll - has added a pair of signees for its 2014 recruiting class. Head Coach Tom Hilbert announced that Jasmine Hanna and Alexandra Poletto signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period. Read more.

Colorado State sophomore Jessica Shepard has been named this week’s Mountain West Women’s Swimmer of the Week. The conference made the announcement Wednesday morning. Read more.

WBB: CSU falls in late thriller

In the 44th annual matchup between the Colorado State Rams and the No. 17 ranked Colorado Buffaloes, it was a hard-fought battle until the end, but the Buffaloes came out victorious with a 63-59 win over CSU at Moby Arena on Tuesday night. Read more.

FB: Roberts a nominee for 2013 Burlsworth Trophy

Colorado State junior kicker Jared Roberts is one of 53 football student-athletes to be named a nominee for the 2013 Burlsworth Trophy presented by the Springdale (Ark.) Rotary Club. The 2013 list includes standout players and national statistical leaders from every major conference in the nation. Read more.

FB: CSU kicker earns national weekly honor

Colorado State junior kicker Jared Roberts was one of three kickers to be named “Stars of the Week,” a weekly award given by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, which also awards the Lou Groza Award, given to the nation’s best kicker. Read more.

MBB: Rams fall at No. 15 Gonzaga, 93-61

Junior guard Jon Octeus scored a career-high 27 points, but the Rams (1-1) were unable to overcome a three-point barrage by Gary Bell, Jr., and the No. 15/15-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs (2-0), falling 93-61 on Monday night in front of a sell-out crowd of 6,000 at GU’s McCarthey Athletic Center. VB: CSU volleyball remains at No. 10

The undefeated Colorado State volleyball team remained at No. 10 in this week’s AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll, released Monday. CSU earned a road win at Wyoming and a home victory against Nevada on the week to improve to 23-0, 14-0 MW. Read more.
