Volunteers wanted for potato-tasting research

Researchers from the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resource Economics are looking for volunteers to participate in a study to determine consumer preferences for different varieties of potatoes.

Sample a variety of potatoes

Research participants will be asked to:

  • Answer questions about food preferences
  • Sample several varieties of potatoes
  • Participate in a “potato auction” to determine the value of various potato varieties and characteristics

Short time commitment

The whole process will last approximately an hour and a half.

The research study will consist of three separate trials. The dates and start times of the various trials are as follows:

  • 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11
  • 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, Nov. 13

Where: Colorado State University campus

Compensation: $30 cash & light fare
