The Colorado State University Early Childhood Center, 223 S. Shields St., will be featured on the tour this year.

The tour includes five historic homes, the ECC, and two historic sites, as well as a silent auction. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. More information about tickets for Timeless Treasures: 29th Annual Historic Homes Tour is available online.

Extensive renovation

The Early Childhood Center opened in its new location in January 2013. The ECC is housed in the historic Washington School building, which was purchased from Poudre School District. The building underwent an extensive $4.6 million renovation to transform it into a center serving children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. The Washington School opened in 1919 and served as the elementary lab school for many years.
