Blood donations welcomed June 1

May 26, 2011

Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. You can make that choice on Wednesday, June 1, when the CSU Health Network will host a blood drive at a convenient location on the Colorado State campus. No appointment is necessary.

'Sherwood Forest' on University Avenue

Poudre Valley Hospital will be accepting blood donations in their mobile blood donation unit on Wednesday, June 1 between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Look for the mobile unit marked parked on University Avenue east of the Lory Student Center Plaza, in the area called the Sherwood Forest.

Become part of a select group

When you make a blood donation, you join a very select group. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood. Join the community of generous people who consider donating blood their form of volunteerism--their way of making a difference in their community.

Your community needs a safe and stable blood supply

Help your community maintain a safe and stable blood supply -- no appointment isnecessary - walk up and donate blood! All students, staff and faculty are welcome to donate.

Sponsored by the CSU Health Network.
