Rising faculty stars wanted for Monfort Professorships

Nominations of junior faculty members with potential to make a significant impage on CSU due by March 1.

The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President now taking nominations for the 2013 Monfort Professors. The deadline for this year's nominations is March 1 at 4 p.m.

The Monfort Family Foundation established the Monfort Professors Program to help Colorado State University enhance its faculty by recruiting and retaining talented faculty members. Each year, two young faculty members are recognized as Monfort Professors for their outstanding achievements. 

To be eligible, a faculty member must be appointed to a regular faculty position; be a junior faculty member (typically no more than three years at the associate professor rank), and demonstrate a potential to make a significant impact on CSU through teaching and/or research.
