Eleven-year-old future engineering Ram takes stage

The future of Engineering at Colorado State University was on display Sept. 12 at the grand opening of the Suzanne and Walter Scott, Jr. Bioengineering Building when an 11-year-old aspiring biomedical engineer took over the podium.

Sam Duarte spoke at the event on behalf of future CSU students. Duarte became involved with CSU through his science fair project, testing head impacts on soccer players. He was the only guest speaker at event to deliver his remarks standing on a milk crate.
