Student Sustainable Farm Plant Sale

May 7, 2014

Tomatoes, kale, peppers, squash, cucumbers, eggplants, flowers, and more will be on sale at the Student Sustainable Farm Plant Sale.

Saturday, May 17
10 a.m.-3 p.m.
630 West Lake Street

Annual plant sale

The annual plant sale is a big day for the Student Farm. All of the donations go towards keeping the farm operating by contributing to seed, tool, tray, irrigation, remay, and other miscellaneous costs.

By keeping the farm up and going, we are able to continue with community outreach and education throughout the Fort Collins Community.

Two weeks later this year

We chose to have our plant sale two weeks later this year, so when you buy your transplants you can put them in the ground immediately!

We all know it's hard to care for the plants with busy schedules. On May 17, there will be a 90% chance of no frost for the local area.

Student grown plants

We will be selling all organically and student grown plants/transplants for summer planting.

Our growing operations have produced tomatoes, kale, peppers, squash, cucumbers, eggplants, flowers and more!

Our philosophy

The Colorado State University Student Sustainable Farm believes that a true agricultural experience encompasses precious ecosystems, wildlife, soil fertility, organic growing practices and the health of our future generations.
