Technology fair Aug. 7

The USDA National Wildlife Research Center is working with several other federal research laboratories and non-governmental groups in northern Colorado to host a free, one-day federal technology transfer fair Aug. 7 at the Drake Centre in Fort Collins. 

The main purpose of the event is to:

  • highlight federal laboratory work in northern Colorado that focuses on biological, agricultural and clean energy issues;
  • provide opportunities for networking and discussion regarding research and development; and
  • increase awareness of federal expertise located in northern Colorado.

The event will display case studies of effective industry-government partnerships, booths highlighting federal expertise and available technologies and discussions on how to partner with federal labs. 

CSU researchers, students and others interested in learning more about federal research labs and/or partnering opportunities are encouraged to attend.

Federal partners include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Forest Service, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the Agricultural Research Service. Non-governmental partners include CSU’s Research Innovation Center, CSU Ventures, the City of Fort Collins, CO-LABs, Rocky Mountain Innosphere, Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, Colorado BioScience Association and the Northern Colorado Business Report.
