Rockwell Hall

The Rockewell Hall expansion is to support the business minor program. This two-story building will feature several high-tech classrooms, student team rooms, conference rooms and a second level bridge to connect to the existing building. Construction is scheduled to complete this fall.

Braiden Hall

The Braiden Hall renovation includes many exciting updates to the dining options as well as the residence rooms.

This project will expand the current dining room space and bring new dining options such as custom made deli sandwiches, toasted subs, big burritos and a late night express.

There will also be an option where diners can make online deli orders at lunch. Some of the dining interiors will incorporate recycled materials.

Included in the plans is a new sprinkler system that will be installed in the residence hall rooms, lobby, and dining center. In addition, the residence hall rooms will be getting new carpeting, furniture, and paint.

Construction is set to be completed by October 2009.

Research Innovation Center

Located at the foothills campus, this project is a part of the expansion of the Judson M. Harper Research Complex and is expected to be completed in early 2010.

The center will allow for university scientists and students to work with businesses to develop new products for treatment and diagnosis of infectious diseases. This building will include:

  • Labs for additional toxicology and pathogen research
  • Production space for the pre-clinical testing, production, and marketing of new therapeutics
  • Leased and University office space
  • An MRI research suite
