Working at CSU

Drake Centre tours offered this month

February 27, 2013

Meeting space two miles south of campus will host major events while Lory Student Center ballrooms get Revitalized.

In May, CSU’s Drake Centre will bustle with many of the Lory Student Center’s major events, as the LSC Revitalization project kicks into high gear. Events previously hosted in the upstairs ballrooms will move to this nearby venue until Fall 2014.

While LSC North event venues like the North Ballroom, University Club, Aspen Grille, and meeting rooms like LaPorte and Virginia Dale remain open during renovation, CSU’s Drake Centre will handle larger events that traditionally were held in the LSC’s Ballrooms.

Less than two miles south of campus, CSU’s Drake Centre is located on 802 W. Drake Road and can suit anything from intimate gatherings to large banquets. Housing more than 12,000 square feet of versatile space, CSU’s Drake Centre provides several technological capabilities including LCD projectors and screens, wireless internet, and a house sound system. Venue-goers can enjoy the quality services provided by LSC catering and an extensive menu that can be customized to fit individual style and vision.
