T&F: CSU excels at Cowpoke Open

The Colorado State track & field team travelled to Wyoming Friday for the Cowpoke Open as a final chance to fine-tune before the Mountain West Track & Field Championships. The team did just that, breaking numerous personal records on the day. Read more.

MG: Rams finish 5th

In Colorado State’s final round of the Mountain West Conference Championship, the Rams shot a 297 (+13), giving them a three-day score of 876 (+24).   The Rams finished in fifth place. Junior Parker Edens was the most consistent Ram throughout the weekend, as his final round score of 74 (+3) gives him a total of 216 (+3), good for a share of 13th place.  Edens recorded 37 pars, which was fourth among the field. SB: Rams go 1-2 vs. first-place Aztecs

After recording a 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon to open a key Mountain West series with San Diego State Aztecs, the Colorado State softball team dropped both games of a Sunday double header to fall two games behind the league-leading Aztecs heading into the final weekend of the season. VB: CSU concludes spring training schedule

Wednesday concluded Colorado State volleyball’s spring training schedule, leading the team into its voluntary summer workouts. Returners from the 2012 squad, in addition to CSU’s incoming freshman class, will report for fall camp on Aug. 10. Read more.

Moby Arena court receiving major facelift

Moby Arena, home to one of the most distinctive and effective home court advantages in the country, is receiving a facelift as the playing surface at the 47-year-old facility is undergoing a major refinishing project that began on April 15 and will conclude in mid-May. Read more.
