Plan is to have new dean by July 1

Perryman said the search committee will finalize its report following the series of candidate interviews. The report will be submitted to Colorado State Interim President Anthony A. Frank and Interim Provost Rick Miranda the last week of February. Plans call for a new dean of the college to assume duties on or around July 1.

The successful candidate will replace Marc Johnson, who left Colorado State in June 2008 for a similar position at the University of Nevada-Reno. Lee Sommers, associate dean for research in the College of Agricultural Sciences, has been serving as interim dean.
