Orientation reservations open for new Fall '10 students

After a student has been admitted to CSU, the next step towards officially becoming a CSU Ram is to attend one of CSU's orientation programs! All new students to the university who have paid their enrollment deposit will attend one orientation program. Students and their families are encouraged to reserve their selected date as soon as possible as space is limited.

Orientation for new students and family members

Orientation is where new students. . .

  • Meet with their academic advisor
  • Register for fall classes
  • Connect with academic and involvement resources to promote personal and academic success
  • Make connections with other new students and current students on our Orientation Team
  • Learn more about the campus community and what it means to be a CSU Ram!

Orientation and Transition Programs in the Center for Advising and Student Achievement, or CASA, offers the following orientation programs for new students to CSU:

First-Year Students

CSU Connect Orientation
April 23-24

CSU Connect Orientation is an early orientation program designed specifically for new racially/ethnically diverse students and their families.

Parents & Families

All Orientation programs have a component designed for parents and family members as well.

Family members and guests will be charged a fee per person to attend an Orientation program. Specific fees for the programs and details for parents/families are available on the Orientation & Transition Programs website.
