Old Town Square founders celebration

Party like it's 1985 by celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Old Town Square.

Students, if you're looking for something to do following last weekend's graduation commencements, here's an event being put on by the city of Fort Collins.

25 years of Old Town Square

The 25th Anniversary of Old Town Square and its history will be honored on Friday, May 21 from 4 p.m.-9 p.m. and will include many activities to keep students and families involved.

There will be guest speakers and a rededication of Old Town Square starting at 11a.m.

Celebration details

The event will include:

  • live '80s cover bands
  • an '80s costume contest
  • breakdancers and street performers
  • Ghostbusters and Dukes of Hazzard cars and characters
  • Coopersmith's anniversary beer for purchase
  • free Ben & Jerry's ice cream to the first 250 people
  • food and beverages available for purchase
