Signs that fall semester is approaching are starting to appear -- plans for Ram Welcome are well underway (August 16-19) and the Ram Football fall game schedule has been posted.

The residence halls open for the 2012 fall semester at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16. Classes begin Monday, August 20.

Volunteers on hand for move-in

CSU employees, along with Greek Life volunteers, will help you move into your room from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 16. You can identify our helpful staff members by their white “Welcome to Colorado State University” T-shirts. We will help unload your vehicle and carry your stuff to your room – even to the top floor!

If you have questions or need directions, stop by our information booths from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., located near Green, Newsom, and Westfall Halls. Helpful brochures, maps, bus schedules, and local merchants’ coupons are available. We will even have some refreshments available to re-energize you.

How long will check-in take?

Expect the check-in process at your residence hall to take about an hour, depending on the crowds. Check in consists of:

  • checking immunization records,
  • reading and signing the Residence Hall Contract, and
  • signing for and receiving keys.

R.A.M.S. (Resource And Move-in Staff) team members, residence hall front desk staff, Ram Welcome leaders, and residence life staff, including your resident assistant, are here to welcome you and assist you during Move-In. Don't hesitate to ask for help.
