Cooking class: 'Live well without gluten'

Do you want to learn more about gluten-free cooking? The Nutrition Center @ CSU is offering a cooking class that will teach you about nutrient-rich foods that are both delicious and free of gluten. Join us on Thursday, March 11 in our professional kitchen in the Gifford Building on the CSU campus.

Do you have celiac disease, gluten intolerance, or just want to learn more about gluten-free cooking? Join us in our professional kitchen as we:

  • Identify sources of gluten in foods
  • Explore the most common missing nutrients in a gluten-free diet
  • Show you how to get them

Move beyond rice and into the world of grain variety with these wonderful recipes and samples. See how easy and delicious it can be to follow a nutrient-rich, gluten-free diet! Open to the public.

Join us in Room 114 of the Gifford Building at 502 W. Lake Street on the CSU campus. There will be an optional question and answer session from 1-1:30 p.m.

The cost for attending the cooking class is $10.
