CSU Student Veteran Welcome Aug. 23

August 17, 2009

The Veterans' Program Office at Colorado State University seeks to provide a sense of community amongst those who have served in any branch of the United States Military. We recognize that veterans are in a unique situation on a college campus, and we are here to help make the transition from the military to college as easy as possible for you.

Veteran's Welcome for the Fall Semester

Sunday, Aug. 23, 3-5 p.m.
Room 195 in the Lory Student Center

Come meet other Student Veterans along with staff from some important departments at CSU, including:

  • Adult Learner and Veteran Services Office
  • CSU Student Veterans Organization
  • Veterans Education Benefits Office
  • Student Financial Services
  • Center for Advising and Student Achievement

Food, prizes, camaraderie

There will be some big prizes raffled off to CSU Student Veterans including 4 - $100 dollar book awards along with other cool swag.  Everyone is going to walk away with something.

Families are definitely welcome so bring them along.

The event is catered so there will be free food.

We will plan on going out somewhere afterwards; this will be the start up of our monthly get-togethers.
