9th annual Green & Gold Gala set for April 2

March 24, 2011

The 9th annual Green & Gold Gala, Denver's premier celebration of CSU, will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, at the Denver Marriott City Center.

The 9th annual Green & Gold Gala will be held April 2 in Denver. This annual black-tie event is a fun and philanthropic way to celebrate CSU in Denver. As a fundraiser for the Metro Denver Scholarship, the Gala – complete with silent auction, dinner, and dancing – aims to raise money for scholarships for CSU students who are juniors or seniors from the metro area.

Awarded since 2008, the scholarships have helped three students finish their CSU education: Jeffrey Usher (’10), Sarah Stephens (’10), and Denise Gondrez (’11). The 2011 recipient will be announced at the Green & Gold Gala on Sat. April 2 at the Denver Marriott City Center.
