Ram Welcome is an orientation and transition program for all new first year and transfer students. Additionally, parents and family members are invited to attend specific events during Ram Welcome.

Hi first year and transfer students!

Ram Welcome is a great way to begin your days at Colorado State University because it: 

  •  helps you meet people
  •  orients you to campus
  •  is all-out fun!

Ram Welcome is Thursday, Aug. 20 through Sunday, Aug. 23.  Here's a to-do-list of all the awesome things you can get involved in:  

A to-do list

Thursday, Aug. 20

1. Move/check into your residence hall
2. Go to the floor meeting
3. Grab your roommate and head to the CSU Welcome/Carnival on the West Lawn of Moby 

Friday, Aug. 21

There are rides galore at the Ram Carnival!

1. Attend Ram Roundup and College Welcome, where you'll meet faculty and other students in your major at your department's location. Get a CSU For-Ever-Green t-shirt.

2. Go to the Street Fair under B-wing Clark

3. Enjoy an afternoon of free time.

4.  Check out Ramapalooza at the Lory Student Center (performers, Casino Night, body art, music, crafts, food and prizes.)  Watch the new Star Trek movie under the stars.  Check out the Festival of Unity, a cultural celebration in the Lory Student Center Sculpture Garden. 

Saturday, Aug. 22

1. Ram Play on the Intramural Fields (games and discussions with Ram Welcome Leaders)  Get in on the group photo of your entire first year class.

2. Hike to the "A" (The "A" stands for Aggies) at Horsetooth Reservoir west of Fort Collins.

3. Saturday Night @ Hughes Football Stadium. Ridiculous fun! There will be continuous bus pickup on campus and at Hughes.

4. Head to Ram Night @ Super Target for the last of your supplies for your residence hall room. 

Sunday, Aug. 23

1.  Join in at the Challenge Course and Climbing Tower, the finest state-of-the-art Challenge Course in the West.  

2.  Join Class Quest, where you can find your class buildings so you can be one step ahead for the first day of classes.
