See TEDxCSU 2013 again

April 29, 2013

To educate the community about the release of 11 new TEDTalks from the TEDxCSU 2013: Expanding Your Perspectives conference, CSU is hosting a "Second-Chance Screening" event, set for 6-8 p.m. May 2 at the CSU Behavioral Science Building Auditorium.

The screening will showcase several videos of talks given at the TEDxCSU 2013 conference, originally held in March.

The purpose of the screening is to provide the CSU community a second opportunity to experience the magic of TEDx. The videos being played offer the featured speakers a global platform to present an original idea in a 10-15 minute talk. Any topic was welcome for submission; the team encouraged anyone with an idea worth spreading to apply regardless of age, background, or experience.

TEDxCSU wants to build an interest in the video library at, as well as the videos from this year’s conference. “We want people to know they can access over 1,400 different talks online and be encourage them utilize these educational and entertaining videos,” said Hannah Toole, one of the organization’s founders. “We are glad to be able to continue sharing ideas worth spreading in our communities and give them another chance to be a part of the TEDxCSU experience.”

Two sessions

The event consists of two sessions of original TEDtalks split by one intermission.  During the intermission, guests are encouraged to interact with one another to discuss their passions and perspectives about the topics being presented.

The screening is free for anyone who wants to attend, and seating is on a first come, first served basis.

The Behavioral Sciences Building is located off of College Avenue at the end of West Pitkin Street. Parking is available after 4 p.m. in the lot on the east side of the building. The auditorium is located in room 131, in the west part of the building, just inside from the outdoor patio.
