Old Town comes to Ram Town

November 10, 2011

Colorado State University is bringing a sampling of downtown Fort Collins to Hughes Stadium this Saturday, Nov. 12.

CSU and the Downtown Business Association will host “Old Town Comes to Ram Town” as a way for fans to sample what downtown Fort Collins has to offer during pre-games activities in Ram Town at Hughes Stadium.

The festivities will run from 1-3:30 p.m. on the south side of the stadium. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m.

More than 20 businesses featured

More than 20 downtown businesses will be exhibiting and showcasing their products. Booths will include several breweries, restaurants, retail businesses, coffee shops and cultural organizations and facilities.

“This is a way to create a greater connection between CSU fans and downtown Fort Collins,” said Peggy Lyle of the Downtown Business Association. “It’s a unique way to share part of downtown while showing our Ram spirit. We encourage the community to support the Rams and stop by and tailgate with us, downtown style.”
