New postage rates for all classes of mail as of Jan. 26

Check the Mail Services website for the new USPS rates as they become available.

The U.S. Postal Service has announced new postage rates for all classes of mail effective Jan. 26, 2014.

Rate adjustment highlights for First Class Mail

  • Letters 1 oz. and under will increase from $0.46 to $0.49.
  • Additional weight on letters  -  $0.21 per each additional ounce.
  • Letters 1 oz. and under to all international destinations will be $1.15.
  • Postcards will increase from $0.33 to $0.34.

Rate adjustment highlights for Non-Profit Bulk Mail

  • For those departments mailing at the Non-Profit rate, Non-Profit letters will see an increase from $0.178 to $0.191. Non-Profit Flats will see an increase from $0.417 to $0.451.

Mail Services is updating its website on Monday, Jan. 27, with the new USPS pricing.
