This year's "Border War" pits the Colorado State Rams against the University of Wyoming Cowboys and extends the battle for the Bronze Boot trophy into its fourth decade.

Give back by giving blood

Help Colorado State University win the Rams vs. Wyoming Cowboys Border War Blood Drive Bronze Heart by giving back!

All blood donors will receive a Border War Blood Drive T-shirts from PVH while supplies last along with other giveaways.

Pre-registration is recommended.

Your appointment will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Every potential donor must:The Bronze Boot passes to the team that wins the annual Border War game.

  • have a list of dates they are available to donate,
  • arrive with a photo ID,
  • arrive for their donationg having eaten and drank something (hydration is important),
  • report their post-donation travel plans.

Oldest tradition between rivals

The Border War and Battle for the Bronze Boot between the Rams and the University of Wyoming Cowboys is in its 105th year. The competition represents the oldest tradition of rivalry between the two schools.

Ram fans will be hosted by the CSU Alumni Association for a morning rally and bus trip to Laramie.  The rally & bus package includes breakfast burrito, pastries, coffee,  juice, beer, and bus trip to and from the game.  Water and soda will be available on the bus.
