Wilbur Wojahn
Facilities Management Electrical Engineer

Wilbur worked at CSU from 1966 to 2012. CSU was a main part of Wilbur’s life, and he enjoyed being a part of CSU and the activities he was involved in. He was honored for over 45 years of service to CSU last month.

A 1963 graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering, with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, he came to work for CSU in 1966 after working for Rural Cooperative Power Association in Elk River, Minn., as a transmission design engineer. Wilbur was instrumental in undergrounding the electrical distribution systems on Main and South Campuses. He was helping with the process of undergrounding the electrical system on Foothills at the time of his death.

Besides his electrical distribution work, Wilbur designed and provided construction review and overview on numerous building electrical projects throughout the years. His knowledge of CSU’s electrical systems was extensive and very helpful to others.
