On Saturday, June 27, CSU's International Center for German-Russian Studies is hosting a public conference on Colorado's German-Russian history and culture. Conference speakers will include Russian Provincial officials and Saratov State University academicians.

This one-day event, open to the public, will explore Colorado's German-Russian history and culture. 

Colorado State and Saratov State University will give presentations on the German-Russian diaspora and its history, including 20th century events and their effects on communities in the Volga River region, Black Sea, and western Siberia.

The conference will include visual documentation from the U.S.S.R. and the Russian Federation and images from the 1920s and 1930s of the 1941 deportation of German-Russians and other historical events. 


Registration is $25 and can be paid at the conference. You may fill out a registration form ahead of time and bring it to the conference.
