2011 1098-T tax forms are available

January 25, 2012

1098-T tax forms are available online for students who requested via RAMweb to receive their tax form electronically.

Tax forms available

1098-T tax forms are available online for students who requested via RAMweb to receive their tax form electronically. 1098-T forms may be used to calculate possible educational tax credits on your 2011 tax return. Please consult your tax advisor or IRS publication 970 if you have questions about this tax credit.

Obtaining your form

ECSI has e-mailed those who signed up for electronic notification. The e-mail includes instructions on how to access your form. If you did not receive that e-mail, you can log directly into our vendor's website using the school code JW, your CSU ID, and the password you created on their website. You can also reach this link through RAMweb, under "Billing Information", then "Electronic 1098-T forms."

Those who did not sign up for electronic delivery of their forms can still view and print their forms online by going to the link mentioned in the above paragraph and creating a login profile with ECSI. Paper 1098-T forms will be mailed within the next two days to the mailing address on file in the student system at Colorado State University as of Dec. 31, 2011.

Additional information

Additional information that details the box totals on your form is available on RAMweb under the "Billing Information" link, then "1098-T Transaction Data." This will show you all of the transactions that sum to the box totals for the year. Multiple years of data are available, but you will need to look at the 2011 data to match up to your current tax form.

If you have general questions, please visit for information regarding your tax documents and to obtain contact information for ECSI. If you have any questions regarding the information on your 1098-T or if you experience trouble with your web login (including forgotten passwords), please feel free to contact ECSI at (866) 428-1098. Neither your school nor ECSI can answer tax questions, you must contact your tax advisor.
