MBB:  Avila signs letter of intent

Colorado State men’s basketball coach Larry Eustachy announced Monday afternoon the signing of former Navy standout J.J. Avila to a National Letter of Intent.  Avila is the first signee of the spring period for the Rams, and becomes the fourth player to commit to CSU for the 2013-14 seasons. Read more.

WP: All-WWPA announced

The Colorado State water polo team earned a program-record four postseason honors Monday, as three different Rams were recognized by the Western Water Polo Association. Read more.

Tennis: MW Championships

The Colorado State women’s tennis team will travel to Colorado Springs this week for the Mountain West Championships. Colorado State begins tournament play Thursday, April 25 at 10 a.m. vs. New Mexico. The winner of that match will take on San Diego State Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. Read more.

T&F: Rams host Christiansen Invitational

After a busy period of travelling to and from California for participation in a number of different meets, Colorado State track & field athletes will return to competition at home this weekend for the Jack Christiansen Invitational at the Jack Christiansen Track. Read more.

Women's Golf: 2013 MW Championships

The Colorado State women’s golf team travels to Rancho Mirage, Calif., to compete in the 2013 Mountain West Women’s Golf Championship, April 25-27.  It marks  the 13th year that Colorado State, a founding member of the Mountain West, has competed in the event. CSU’s top finish at the conference championship was a tie for second in 2001. CSU has six all-time top-three finishes at the Mountain West championship. Read more.

The Mountain West announced Colorado State junior Trevor Brown as the men's outdoor track & field Athlete of the Week Tuesday. This is Brown's third career award, and first during the 2013 outdoor season. Read more.

SB: Biglow MW Player of the Week

Colorado State junior third baseman Chelsea Biglow has earned her second Mountain West Player of the Week nod in less than a month, after leading the Rams to a 2-1 series victory over the Fresno State Bulldogs that catapulted the team into a tie for first place in the league standings. Read more.

Men's Golf: Rams head to Provo for Cougar Classic

Colorado State, coming off a strange outing at the Cowboy Classic, will look to rebound from a 33 over-par finish and contend at the upcoming Cougar Classic.  Colorado State finished second in the event last year, as well as winning the Cougar Classic in 2011. Read more.
