Parking lot 349 and parking on East Drive allocated to Disaster Recovery Center

June 13, 2012

Update, July 3

Larimer County announced today that the Disaster Recovery Center will complete their services this week and will close at the end of the day Friday, July 6. The center, which is run by the county, also will be closed on July 4 for the holiday. The center also will reduce operating hour on Thursday and Friday to 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

After the closure of the center, parking in metered lot #349 and along East Drive will return to normal, requiring payment or proper permits on Monday, July 9.

CSU has designated Johnson Hall as the Disaster Recovery Center for the High Park Fire.

Starting on June 14, parking lot 349 will be closed to CSU staff. It will be used as parking for evacuees and CSU staff with reserved parking spaces only. No parking tickets will be issued should evacuees accidentally park in reserved spots.

Disaster Recovery Center personnel will be issued temporary permits to park in lots 325, 327, 330, 332 and 440, so there may be increased congestion in these areas.

Additionally, there will be no parking on East Drive from University Avenue to the Oval. This includes all "A", ADA, loading zone, state and service vehicle spaces.

A section of lot 310 close to Rockwell Hall has been set aside for fire engines and other vehicles. Moby lot (195) may also be used for this purpose.

Please contact Parking Services with any questions, and thank you for your understanding as we provide support for the High Park Fire emergency.
