Motivating and recognizing employees is one of the top challenges facing supervisors and managers in the university workplace today. Learn tools to unlock employee potential at a workshop on Feb. 11.

Motivating and recognizing employees is one of the top challenges facing supervisors and managers in the university workplace today. In this 4-hour module participants will:

  • explore the relationship between motivation and recognition
  • learn the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation
  • powerful ways to motivate employees
  • effective ways to recognize employee performance
  • how to use motivation and recognition to unlock the potential of their employees
     

Participants will walk away with tools to reinforce CSU’s values and to promote excellence throughout the University.

Who should attend:  Supervisors and/or managers with some experience; basic to advanced level.

Open to CSU faculty and staff.
