Healthy Mexican cuisine

The experience of going out for Mexican food and cooking at home can be vastly different. This segment of the Nutrition Center's International Dining Series will look at reducing extra calories, fat and salt.

The International Cuisine Series is happy to offer International Dining Series – Part II. Travel around the world without leaving the kitchen – again!

Join Michelle Milholland, M.S., R.D. and CSU students for a continuation of our popular International Cuisine Series. This time we’ll highlight a variety of Spanish-speaking countries, all with unique culinary traditions.

Authentic and nutritious choices

Mexican restaurants can be found all over the United States, but often the American influence doesn’t do our hearts or waistlines any favors! In this class we’ll make some Mexican favorites with a focus on authentic flavors and nutritious choices.

Class fee and what's included

The cost to attend is $20 per class ($10 for CSU students and employees) and includes:

  • recipes
  • education materials
  • lunch  

If you register for all three classes and pay in advance, the total cost is just $50 ($25 for employees and students). Register online, or call (970) 491-8615.

All classes include optional 30-minute Q&A at the end of the programs.
